Who Says Print Media is Dead?

How many times have you heard that expression? How many times have you agreed with it?

Growing up, the Sunday newspaper was a staple of family life. We talked about the Sunday comics the next day at school, or about upcoming movies advertised on back pages of the entertainment section.

There were also magazines we collected, each one of us whichever happened to pique our interest at the time. From cars to dinosaurs, and everything in between, there was always a publication to keep you up to date on your hobbies.

The Future of Interior Design

How different is the world today to the world you grew up in? No matter when or where you were born, or where you may find yourself now, the answer to this question is always the same one: They are two entirely different worlds.

From a business perspective, we don’t have to look that far back to be reminded of just how quickly the world around us keeps changing. We used to rent movies at Blockbuster, and the retail industry was booming. Today we watch and shop from the same touch screen we use to work.

Luxury Yachting & Augmented Reality

There are few places in the world where the presence of the ocean is as evident as it is in Miami. Even when we can’t see it, there are plenty of reminders that we are only minutes away from the water. There are canals all across the city, and drawbridges connecting tiny islands to each other and to the mainland across the bay.

It comes as no surprise then, that there are boats all over Miami, and that these range from tiny inflatable rafts to luxurious yachts and cruise ships. When we go to the suburbs, we may find one parked in a backyard, waiting for the next fishing outing, begging to be taken out to play. Closer to the city, we find canals and marinas dotted with yachts, kept in pristine conditions by loving owners and taken to the sandbars over the weekend.
